Description
Our pasture raised pork soup bones are a mixed selection of bones cut and ready to go straight into the pot. Each pack contains approximately 2.0 to 2.5 lbs of bones from our own forest and pasture raised pork — the perfect foundation for a rich, flavorful homemade broth, stock, soup, or stew.
Sold in packs 2.0 to 2.5 lbs each
Pork bones produce a lighter, more delicate broth than beef but are no less flavorful. They are particularly well suited as a base for ramen, Asian-style noodle soups, and slow-cooked bean dishes. For the best results, roast the bones at 400°F for 30 to 45 minutes before simmering to develop color and depth. From there, cover with cold water, add aromatics if you like, and simmer low and slow for 4 to 12 hours.
1 pack is $6.25 (approximately 2.0 to 2.5 lbs).
Prefer a ready-made option? We also carry our own slow-simmered bone broth, made from grass fed beef and pasture raised chicken bones, packaged in convenient 14 oz frozen pouches.
Photographs for broth parts all use the same perspective on 3 different container sizes to help you reference the quantity you may want to purchase. This photograph uses a 10.25" diameter 5.5 quart Le Creuset Dutch oven. Others use a 7" diameter 2 quart or a 14" diameter 13.25 quart.
