Local Delivery

Farmer David delivers personally to the Charleston area, typically twice a month on Sundays. The next delivery date is listed in the banner on our homepage. Not a courier, not a contractor — the same person who raised the animals. 

Delivery is $20 on orders under $150, and free on orders of $150 or more.

Our delivery area runs from Summerville down through North Charleston, West Ashley, and the peninsula, out to Mount Pleasant and Daniel Island, and across to James Island and Johns Island. We stop short of Kiawah and Seabrook — the drive out and back is simply too much. 

Enter your address at checkout and we will tell you immediately whether you are in the area. If you are, you will get a text at least 24 hours ahead with a one-hour window. You may leave a cooler out if you will not be home.

Orders must be placed by Friday at 6 PM for the following delivery.

If you live near one of our pickup locations, that is usually the better choice. Same product, no delivery charge, and it saves us a trip. Delivery exists for people who cannot make a pickup window, not as a free upgrade.

Shipping via FedEx

We ship frozen orders via FedEx Ground to 21 states and Washington, DC — everywhere our packing can reliably keep meat frozen within two days of transit. Orders ship on Mondays to avoid weekend delays.

We ship to: Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

If you're outside that list, we're sorry. We could put your order on a plane, but the freight would cost more than the meat and we'd rather tell you that plainly than sell you a $300 shipping charge.

A minimum order of $250 of frozen goods is required for all FedEx shipments. We require this minimum to ensure safe transit and to reduce the environmental impact of dry ice packaging. All shipped orders are charged a flat rate of $49.75 for shipping.

We want to be direct: we are a local farm and our focus is on serving the Charleston area. FedEx shipping is available, but if you are within our delivery area or near a pickup location, that is always the better option — fresher product, no shipping cost, and less environmental impact.
